On Thursday, March 7, Carmen Wilburn was selected to represent Area V schools at the Missouri State FFA Officer interviews in April.
Carmen interviewed against four other FFA members. The interviews consisted of a writing portion, FFA Knowledge test, a stand and delivered speech, a personal interview as well as a group activity.
Now that she has been selected for the next round, she will travel to Columbia, Mo., April 12 and 13 in to interview in front of Ag teachers, Agriculture industry professionals, former state officers and current officers to determine if she will be selected as a Missouri State FFA officer.
This interview process will consist of the same, writing portion, stand and deliver, personal interview, and a group activity.
So now, Carmen will be practicing, preparing, and studying current Ag issues over the next few weeks.
