On Saturday, March 16, members from the Van-Far Chiefs Band competed in the MSHSAA District Solo Competition. Katelyn Sutton and Lexie Jones earned outstanding in the Flute solos, Richard Hayden earned Outstanding on the Trumpet solo and Lindsay Jones earned Exemplary and will compete at the state level in April on the Flute solo.
