On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Van-Far Lady Indians traveled to Wellsville to play the Lady Tigers.
Van-Far has not had much luck with Wellsville-Middletown recently, as the team’s come up short the last two times they’ve met.
Van-Far’s loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1 – 17. Despite the loss, Van-Far still got an impressive performance from seniors, Carmen Wilburn, Mckenna Engh-Hoffman and freshman Elliot Utterback.
Carmen led the team with 10 points, Eng-Hoffman and Utterback both scored 6 points each. Following close behind was Mylee Keller with 3, Chloe Zumwalt, and Khloe Wallace both with 2 points each and Kenya Jones with one point from a free throw.
