The Chiefs Band participated in the MSHSAA District competition in Columbia, Mo., on Thursday, March 21. The event is a significant platform for showcasing their musical talents and dedication.
For those unfamiliar with the Missouri State High School Activities Association, it oversees various high school sports and activities, including music competitions. The district competition is an opportunity for bands to demonstrate their skills and earn ratings based on their performance. The Van-Far Chiefs Concert Band earned an Exemplary or I rating. The Chiefs Band is directed by Mr. Moore.
