Audrain Co. Retirees meet

Audrain County Area Public School Retirees met April 2 at the Audrain County Historical Museum.  Guests present were Marilyn Skipper, President of MRTA, Pat Powell, Region 4 Vice President and Ruth Gardener, Regional Membership Chairman.  23 members were in attendance.  President Maureen Hacker announced that we have two new members.   • Van-Far Elementary jumps rope for hearts, lives

    The Susanna Randolph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted their annual George Washington Birthday Celebration at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, at St. Patrick’s hall in Vandalia.   • Eastwood makes honor list

    The Missouri University of Science and Technology announced the names of students who made the honor list for the 2013 Fall semester. Jacob Ryan Eastwood of Laddonia, Mo., a freshman in computer science, was the local student making the list.     Students read books and turned in book reports during Ms. Shanta Wheeler’s Ice Cream Accelerated Reading Challenge.However every book report is worth a different amount of points.
