The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like to announce that a small exhibit on World War II will be on display at the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center through December 12. The title of the exhibit is “Women in Service During World War II” and is on loan from the Museum of Missouri Military History located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Did you know hundreds of thousands of women served the nation in all branches of the military during World War II? For many women, World War II brought not only sacrifices, but also new jobs, new skills, and new opportunities. This 5-panel exhibit will highlight their roles.
The M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center is located on Rt. J, south of the Clarence Cannon Dam. If you need additional information, please call us 573-565-2112 or email us email@example.com.
