St. John Lutheran Women’s Guild met at the church on Wednesday, May 9. President Regina Vogt opened the meeting with prayer. Dorothy Cahill led the Bible Study, “Lavish Blessings.”
Five members responded to roll call with a Bible verse using the word grow or growing.
The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved and committee reports given.
It was decided that Regina will take some of the cookbooks to be sold at the District LWML Convention.
A report on the spring Zone LWML Rally was given by those who attended.
The next meeting will be June 13. The services project for this meeting is to bring cleaning supplies for the church.
The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer. Refreshments were served by Elsie Hand.
