William (Bill) Hugh Gollaher

William (Bill) Hugh Gollaher, age 71, of Bowling Green, went to be with his Heavenly Father June 11, 2013.
A memorial service will be at Country View Nursing Home on Friday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m. with interment in Dover Cemetery.
The ninth of ten children, Bill was born Nov. 20, 1941, to Alfred Walter Gollaher and Jessie Marie Dietzman Gollaher in the family home at Frankford. On April 2, 1962, Bill married Dorothy Mae Atteberry. Together they celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Survivors include, Bill’s wife, Dorothy, children Linda Kay Gollaher and William Walter Gollaher of Bowling Green; sisters, Lurinda Jane Gollaher Johnson of Kansas City and Jessie Evalie
Gollaher Moore of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ida Mae Gollaher; brothers, James Alfred
Gollaher, John Myron Gollaher, Willis Walter Gollaher, Roy Jackson Gollaher, George Franklin Gollaher, and Robert Wayne Gollaher.
Bill was born and raised in rural Frankford and was a life long resident of Pike County.
He was
self-employed until his retirement. He was a Christian man, honest and hard working. Bill was a loving
husband and a loving father to Linda and Billy. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
