Violet worked for many years at the shoe factory and Bobbie Brooks. She was a very strong and determined woman who worked hard much of her life. She loved her home and caring for her disabled son. Violet enjoyed gardening and was very proud of the huge tomatoes she raised each year.
She was a master seamstress and enjoyed quilting, creating beautiful works of art that she shared with family members.
She will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered by her grandchildren who she loved so much. Grams always brought smiles to their faces with her funny sayings.
Per Violet’s request, there will be no services.
