Verline Nadine Hinds, age 79, of Bowling Green went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2015 at the De Paul Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Burial will be held in the Kinderhook Cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at the funeral home.
Verline was born April 30, 1936 in Belle, the daughter of Oliver and Nell Southard Perkins. On Nov. 9, 1951 she married Lancie Hinds. He preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 2000. Survivors include four children LoRena Perkins and husband Marvin of Bowling Green, Franklin Hinds and wife Debbie of Lake Sherwood, KW (Bill) Hinds and wife Lee Anna of Hannibal, and Alarice Turnbough and husband John of Paris; 15 grandchildren and their spouses; 34 great-grandchildren; sister Peggy Feathers and her family; brother-in-law Quintin Easley and wife Becky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, and three sisters.
Verline loved her family and was active in her church.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and her flowers.
She loved children, her church, her family, and cooking for friends. She was loved by many and will be missed very much.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Association or the Kinderhook Cemetery.
