Vandalia Library sets its Summer schedule

Posted on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 12:19 pm

One great way to keep your children reading this summer is to have them join “Every Hero has a Story” Summer Reading Program at the Vandalia Library.
Registration begins on June 15 for children who will be in Kindergarten this fall up to age 13. To be eligible to be in a final drawing, children will need to read at least four books and attend at least two programs. They will also earn a Dairy Queen coupon, Pizza Hut coupon, a book, a book bag, and other prizes.
We will have a weekly drawing with prizes. All ages can attend the programs but only K-13 year-olds can sign up for the drawings. We have some great programs planned for this year and we encourage children to come be a part of our program. If you have any questions, please call the library at 594-6600.
