The Van-Far Ambulance District received the keys on Monday, October 26 for its recently purchased 2015 AEV Traumahawk (Chevrolet) during a brief ceremony.
AEV Salesman Ned Clifton was present to complete the purchase of the $143,939 emergency vehicle.
The ambulance features new power cots and a power lift and replaces a 2003 model, which was sold to the Farber Fire Department.
Signage on the new emergency vehicle now matches its 2011 model.
Storage in the cabins of both ambulances are the same.
It will go into service on Friday, October 30.
The Van-Far Ambulance District last purchased an ambulance in April 2011, which was a 2010 model.
