Vandalia Fire Department receives donation from Huck Finn Solar

Vandalia, MO – Developer of the Huck Finn solar project in Audrain and Ralls counties, EDF Renewables, has donated $2,500 to the Vandalia Fire Department. Though the project’s construction start date is still pending, Huck Finn Solar is already looking to support area causes as an involved community partner. “We’re really appreciative of the opportunity to support the community in this way. Members of the Vandalia Fire Department excel at providing leadership and well-being to their community,” said Jinnie Hall, EDF Renewables’ Sr. Manager, Community Relations “Solar panels have very little risk of fire potential” said Jesse Laniak, the Project Developer for the Huck Finn Solar Project. “EDF Renewables has an industry leading safety culture which we intend to carry forward through the operations of the facility in collaboration with local stakeholders like the Vandalia Fire Department.” The Huck Finn Solar Project by EDF Renewables is a 200 MWac solar project located in Audrain and Ralls Counties, Missouri. The construction and operation of the Huck Finn Solar Project will have a positive economic impact on the Missouri economy. The company said.
