Vandalia Family Aquatic Center offers chance for local residents to beat the heat

Several young area swimmers have been battling the Summer heat by enjoying many visits to the Vandalia Family Aquatic Center.
The center is open seven days a week, weather permitting.
Open Swim hours are 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday along with 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday.
Family Swim times are 5:45-6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Aquacise time (which costs $4, or $2 for season pass holders) is scheduled for 5:45-6:45 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Admission fees are as follows: Daily Admission (16 and over)-$4; Daily Admission (under 16)-$3; and Children (ages 3 and under)-Free.
Individual season passes cost $45 while the family pass is $135 for three full price passes with a cost off $10 for each additional family member living in the same household.
The pool can also be rented out for $100 (10-11 a.m.) or $175 (7-9 p.m.).
Kids must be 8 years old to enter alone or accompanied by someone who is 15 years old or older. For more information, call 573-594-2540.
