The graduating Class of Van-Far 1965 held it’s 50-year Class Reunion on September 26 at the Vandalia Hotel with 29 classmates and their spouses attending. Following a meal catered by the Country Cupboard, members gave classmates a brief history of their past 50 years. A moment of silence was observed for the 15 deceased classmates. Those attending enjoyed the evening telling stories and visiting. A letter was read from Jorg Kominski, our AFS exchange student, by Larry Langford.
The reunion was planned by Linda Fern Roberts Grote and Harold Chenweth. Harold was unable to attend due to illness. A memorial table with pictures of deceased classmates was provided by Linda Grote.
