Van-Far’s boys and girls track and field teams continue to battle through injuries while having a strong showing at the Monroe City Relays on April 21.
The boys team took sixth overall with 80 team points.
Sharrod Connor won the long jump after leaping 20’5.25”. He was also second in the 100 meters and second in the triple jump.
The 4×200-meter relay team of Conner Albrecht, Nick Barnes, Jacob Garner, and Parker Wallace took third place.
The same group was third in the 4×400-meter event.
Nick Carpenter, Kyle Ebers, Cole Grimes, and Cameron Perkins were fifth in the 4×800.
Andrew Snodgrass was fifth in the discus.
Barnes took seventh in the high jump.
Garner was third in the pole vault.
Albrecht placed third in the 400 meters and eighth in the pole vault.
Wallace was eighth in the 400 meters.
Lathyn McMorris took second in the 1,600 meters.
Trey Atkinson was eighth in both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles.
The Lady Indians scored 23 team points for seventh place.
Abby Robinson was fourth in the 200 meters, sixth in the long jump, and eighth in the 100 meters.
Taryn Adam was sixth in the 3,200 meters, sixth in the 800 meters, and took seventh in the 400 meters.
Alexis DeTienne was eighth in the 400 meters.
Madison Orr was seventh in the 100 meters.
Laura Krautkraemer took seventh in the 3,200 meters.
Jayda Borgmeyer was eighth in the shot put.
