Van-Far Elementary School held a Jump Rope 4 Heart Celebration last week after students raised $2,584.22 to benefit the American Heart Association through a recent fundraiser.
Van-Far 2nd grade student Kasen Christian earned the honor of pouring slime onto teacher Kelly Orf after he raised the most money of $150.
The Top-15 fundraisers were Brooklyn Whiteaker, Caleb Martin, Landon Flowers, Paige Stuart, Robert Ford, Kylie Dameron, Andrew Morris, Colin Martin, Bella Hopkins, Tylee DeTienne, Katelyn McMurdy, Joseph Lasley, Ryan Null, Carter Jennings, and Kasen Christian.
Teachers getting an ice bucket on their heads included Ms. Purk, Mrs. Gooch, Mrs. Jensen, Mrs. Trower, Ms. Blattel, Mr. Eickhoff, Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Hays, Ms. Cashman, Mr. Bachtold, Mrs. Jennings, Coach Orf, Mrs. Hanson, and Mrs. Kirby.
Orf also dressed like a clown and rode a trike all day.
