On Nov. 12, Van-Far High School opened its doors to honor the brave men and women who have served U.S. in the military. The school hosted a special breakfast and a beautiful program to show their gratitude and respect for local veterans. The event was a heartwarming tribute, filled with appreciation and community spirit.

The day began with a delicious breakfast, where students and staff had the opportunity to sit down and share stories with the veterans. Among the honored guests were some friends from the Missouri Veterans Home, whose presence made the event even more special.

Following the breakfast, the school held a program that featured patriotic speeches, musical performances, and a touching tribute to the veterans. The students of the National Honor Society, under the guidance of Cameron Huff, played a significant role in organizing and hosting the event. Their dedication and hard work were evident in every detail, from the beautifully decorated venue to the well-coordinated program.

Van-Far High School’s tribute to the veterans was a resounding success, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and appreciation. The school community came together to create a memorable and meaningful event, showing that the spirit of gratitude and respect for our veterans is alive and well. The event not only honored the veterans but also served as a reminder to the students and the community of the sacrifices made by these brave individuals.

A big thank you went out to Huff and the members of the National Honor Society for their efforts in making this event possible. Their commitment to honoring our veterans is commendable and serves as an inspiration.
