Van-Far Elementary presents multiple Christmas programs

Van-Far students in grades K-1st along with 6th grade entertained a large crowd with two performances held last Thursday at Van-Far Elementary.
The evening began with “A Christmas Carol.”
Cast members included but are not limited to: Andrew Morris (Ebenezer Scrooge), Cameron Jones (Bob Cratchit), Darius Starks (Jacob Marley), Harley Brewster (Ghost of Christmas Past), Lilly Boushard (Ghost of Christmas Present), and Alex Wilson (Ghost of Christmas Future.)
The evening began with Scrooge and the choir singing “Count on It!”
Throughout the performance the choir performed “Back to a Christmas Past,” “Holiday Hoedown,” “That’s the Way it Is,” “We Have Love,” “Shadows Yet to Be,” and “On Christmas Morning.”
The 6th Grade Band, featuring it’s largest group, then performed “Jolly Old St. Nicholas, ‘Good King Wenceslas,” and “Jingle Bells.”
After the band, the program “Melton the Warm-Hearted Snowman” was presented by the Van-Far Kindergarten and 1st grade students with the assistance of the 6th grade.
Featured cast members included Abi Hunn (Melton), Kaylen Culwell (Molly), Lily Boushard (Doctor), Jackson Franke  (Papa Snowman), and Lydia Bontz (Bartholomew).
Songs included “What a Perfect Winter Day,” “Melton, the Warm-Hearted Snowman,” “Tough Love!,” “Cool Carols,” “It’s About Love,” “Reprise of Melton the Warm-Hearted Snowman, and Reprise: It’s About Love.”
