Van-Far crowns 2015 Homecoming royalty

Van-Far’s Homecoming royalty. Seniors Wyatt McDowell and Abbegail Robinson were crowned King and Queen during halftime of the Van-Far/Community R-VI football game against Bowling Green last Friday night.

This year’s Homecoming Week was filled with several activities for Van-Far students during September 21-25.
The Homecoming king and queen were crowned during halftime of the Van-Far/Community R-VI game against Bowling Green. Those crowned were King Wyatt McDowell and Queen Abbegail Robinson. Both are seniors.
The other candidates were freshmen Shaylinn Summers and Verlyn Johnson; sophomores Alex Flowers and Ashley Stanich; along with juniors Logan Holt and Jenna Willis.
This year’s Spirit King is Anthony Cole and Spirit Queen is Shaylinn Summers.
The two were also honored at halftime after several activities during the week as the overall class winners were the seniors.

Spirit at Pep Assembly: 1) Freshmen; 2) Sophomores; 3) Seniors; 4) Juniors
Mini-Olympics: 1) Seniors; 2) Sophomores; 3) Juniors; 4) Freshmen
A Powder Puff game, featuring junior and senior girls from Van-Far and Community R-VI, took place on Wednesday as the football players cheered on the girls as cheerleaders.
The seniors won the game, 28-12.
