Van-Far band holds concert event

The Van-Far Chiefs Marching Band entertained the crowd this past Monday evening with a concert entitled “A Marching Year in Reveiw.”
The event was directed by Alex Cucciarre.
Band members first performed three songs under the theme “007: The Music of James Bond.” Those included “Die Another Day,” “Live and Let Die” with senior Warren Kraft on the trombone, and “Secret Agent Man.”
The Junior High band performed for the theme “Let There Be Pop!” Songs included “Good Time,” “Let It Go” with senior Cody Swarthout playing trumpet, along with “Radioactive.”
The “Senior Night” Ladies Night Out!” theme featured performances with “Shower,” “Fancy,” and “Bang Bang,” that featured junior Janie Swarthout with the alto saxophone.
For “Stand Tunes: All About Those Shorts,” performances included “Starships,” “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly,” “Teenage Dream,” Seminole Cheer,” “Thrift Shop,” “All About That Bass,” and Van-Far’s fight song.
