United Credit Union honored with Flag of Freedom Award

United Credit Union was recently honored with Governor Nixon’s Flag of Freedom Award.
The Show-Me heroes initiative, which was announced by the governor in January of 2010, helps connect military veterans with job opportunities when they return home from active service.
United Credit Union signed this pledge and has since hired a veteran and current National Guard officer.
Janis Rowe, VP of Operations, accepted the award for UCU at a ceremony in Mexico, MO on January 26, 2012.
Also present to accept the award for United Credit Union were Jo Ellen Craghead, Board Chairperson, Brent Sadler, President and Heather DeMint, VP of Marketing.
