On Friday, January 13, Marlin Parrot with the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation and George Huffman of Pearl Motor Company  in Mexico, Mo. presented two CPR units, Resusci Anne and Resusci  Baby, to the Audrain City-County Health Unit.
Kevin Lowrance and Bev Borgeson from the Audrain City-County Health Unit were very pleased to receive this donation.
The ACCHU serves the county of Audrain offering home health and hospice care as well as public health services including blood pressure screenings, immunizations, health education, environmental public health services, etc.
Home Health and Hospice staff as well as public health staff must be CPR certified and must receive regular training.  ACCHU hopes to expand their trainings as an outreach to the community and this donation will assist in making that possible.
The National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation is part of the National Automobile Dealers Association with headquarters in McLean, Virginia.
Its members includes over 19,000 franchised new car and truck dealers in the U.S.  Pearl Motor Co. is a locally owned car dealership and a member of the National Automobile Dealers Association as well as the Missouri Automobile Association.
The National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation is currently devoting some of its resources to emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation training programs by providing grants and equipment to agencies recommended by members of NADA.
