Welcome to the 2016 Summer season of Tri-County Saddle Club. The arena and grounds are almost ready for the sounds of hoof beatings.
The Club is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to provide safe, family-friendly opportunities for people who share a common interest in horsemanship.
Through the efforts of members and volunteers, they host fun, monthly horse shows June-October.
They also organize trail rides, parades, and other horse related activities.
Tri-County Saddle Club supports advocates who work in the Mark Twain Lake region to develop and maintain equestrian trails.
On June 11 at 11 a.m., the club has scheduled the yearly special Youth Roundup. Each child participating will have free admission and there will be lots of prizes.
The first horse show will be June 18 at 2 p.m.
Tri-County Saddle Club strives to share the love for horses in a fun, kid-friendly series of games.
At the monthly meeting, there were discussions of needed repairs to the cook shack, arena, and announcer’s stand.
Members were asked to consider a special donation to go towards a new announcer’s stand, the check to be sent to our treasurer Sarah Evans, designated “fundraiser” on the check.
The announcer’s stand overlooking the arena is important because our sound system projects from there and keeps the shows running safely and smoothly.
We look forward to a safe summer, full of great activities for family fun in our community.
