Monday, December 8
At 9:45 a.m., the residents on the SCU unit and the East Hall enjoyed music with the assistance of Brooke McPike. A large crowd attended.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and Brooke McPike.
At 6 p.m., the bi-weekly Bible class was held with Denna Nichols, with the assistance of Traci Shaw.
Tuesday, December 9
The residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and the staff.
At 1:30 p.m., the Monthly Bible Class was held with Mary Bufford.
At 6 p.m., the monthly music program with Wayne and Roy Lynn, Marvin Soey, and Jerry Brenneman was held. A large crowd was in attendance.
Wednesday,
December 10
At 9:45 a.m., the residents from the SCU Unit, and the East and West Halls enjoyed Christmas stories with Davaline Overton. Also, “The Vandalia Leader” was read.
At 1 p.m., the residents enjoyed the movie, “A Christmas Without Snow” with the assistance of Alice Terry and Brooke McPike.
At 6:30 p.m., the monthly music program of the Faith Tabernacle Church was held with a large crowd in attendance.
Thursday,
December 11
At 10 a.m., the monthly program of the Second Christian Ladies was held with a large crowd in attendance. The residents enjoyed fresh fruit from  the church. Those attending were Inez McPike, Katherine Salmon, Lillian Johnson, and Virgie Overton.
At 1-2:30 p.m., the employee’s Christmas party was held. Everyone enjoyed the party and the refreshments were served with awards given out and everyone receiving a gift.
Friday, December 12
The residents wrapped their Christmas gifts for their families all day long.
Saturday,
December 13
At 9:45 a.m., the residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Brooke McPike.
Sunday,
December 14
At 2 p.m., the Spencer Creek Baptist Church held the worship service. Next week, the Vandalia Holiness Church will be in charge of the service.
Donations were received for the Activity Department from Sandy Chandler, Betty Bosney, and Wayne Lynn.
