May 22
In the morning, the residents on the East Hall and SCU enjoyed a movie with the assistance of Bethany Graver.
At 1:30 p.m., exercise was held with the assistance of Davaline Overton and the staff.
At 6 p.m., the bi-weekly Bible class was held with the assistance of Denna Nichols and Bethany Graver.
Tuesday,

At 10 a.m., the residents enjoyed playing “Horse Shoes” with the assistance of the staff.
At 1:30 p.m., the “Happy Wanderers” music group from Hannibal entertained with songs in the afternoon.
Wednesday,

At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Davaline Overton and the staff.
Thursday,
May 25
At 10:30 a.m., the residents from the SCU and the East Hall enjoyed “The Vandalia Leader” with the assistance of Davaline Overton.
At 1:30 p.m., the community Care Hospice provided cupcakes for the “Birthday Bingo” game.
Friday,
May 26
At 10 a.m., the monthly “Birthday Bingo” with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church was held with Betty Hays, Nancy McDonald, Joe Frieden, Jewel Hammett, Norma Daniels, and Patsy Clithero.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed music from the bluegrass group “Good Turn Daily.” The musicians were Marty Detting, Doug McDowell, Brian Cole, and Rick Howard. A large crowd was in attendance.

At 9:45 a.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with Patricia Conway.

At 1:30 p.m., the Second Baptist Church held the services.

In the morning, the residents from the SCU and the East Hall enjoyed a movie with the assistance of Beverly McQuay.
Tuesday,

In the morning, the residents in the SCU enjoyed hearing stories from the magazine, “Good Old Days.”
At 1:30 p.m., all the residents enjoyed going outside.
Wednesday,
May 31
At 10:30 a.m., “The Vandalia Leader” was read to the residents from SCU and the East Hall with the assistance of Bethany Graver.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Bethany Graver and Beverly McQuay.
Thursday,
June 1
In the morning, the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay.
Friday,
June 2
At 9:30 a.m., communion was held for the Catholic residents.
At 1:30 p.m., the trivia game, “Summer Fun Jingo” was held with the assistance of the staff.
Residents who went to a fish fry were Helen Jerman, Alta Jones, and Colleen Wright. They were assisted by Patricia Conway and Beverly McQuay. Everyone had a good time.

The South Side Baptist Church held the worship service. Next week, the Second Christian Church will be in charge of the service.

At 10:30 a.m., the residents on the East Hall and SCU enjoyed listening to music with the assistance of Beverly McQuay.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed playing basketball with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and the staff.

At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and the staff.
Wednesday,

At 10:30 a.m., the residents from SCU and the East Hall enjoyed “The Vandalia Leader” with the assistance of Davaline Overton.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed “Bingo” with the assistance of volunteers Patsy Clithero, Norma Daniels, and Jewel Hammett. A large crowd was in attendance.

The Second Christian Ladies held their Monthly Devotional program with a large crowd. Residents enjoyed the fresh fruit that they provided.
At 1:30 p.m., the Monthly Residents Council was held along with exercises. Those assisting were Allie Shambach, Patricia Conway, Kitty McCurdy, and Davaline Overton.

June 9
At 9:30 a.m., the Men’s Coffee Hour was held with Shelia Green and the assistance of the staff.
At 1 p.m., the residents were taken outside for a game of “Washers.” A very large crowd was in attendance.

At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and the staff.
Sunday,
June 11
The Second Christian Church held the worship service. Next week, the First Baptist Church will be in charge of the service. The Activity Department would like to say thanks for all the donations we have received for the month of June.
