Monday, November 10
From 9-11 a.m., the residents enjoyed nail care with the assistance of Traci Shaw, Brooke McPike, Susan Jennings, Karen Housman, and Davaline Overton. A very large crowd was in attendance.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and the staff.
At 6 p.m., the bi-weekly Bible class was held with Denna Nichols. She was assisted by Tracy Shaw and Davaline Overton.
Tuesday, November 11
At 9:30 a.m., the residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and Traci Shaw.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed the monthly Bible class with Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Bufford and a crowd was in attendance.
The residents enjoyed “The Vandalia Leader” being read by Brooke McPike with a large crowd in attendance.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed a game of Bingo with the volunteer efforts of Patsy Clithero, Norma Daniels, and Jewel Hammett. A very large crowd attended.
At 6:30 p.m., the monthly music and devotional program of the Faith Tabernacle Church was held with the assistance of Brooke McPike and Mary Wilson.
At 10 a.m., the Second Christian Church ladies held their monthly devotional program with the assistance of Katherine Salmon, Virgie Overton, and Lillian Johnson. They brought out fresh fruit for the residents.
At 1:30 p.m., exercises were held with Davaline Overton and the assistance of the staff.
Friday, November 14
At 9:45 a.m., the residents from the SCU Unit and the East Hall enjoyed a gospel video of “Bill Gaither and Friends” with the assistance of Traci Shaw and staff.
At 1:30 p.m., the Elm Grove Baptist Church ladies did a Thanksgiving craft with the residents. Those assisting were Arlene Runyon, June Yokum, Alice Terry, and Julia Taylor. Ice cream floats were served as refreshment.
At 9:45 a.m., exercises were held with Davaline Overton and assisted by Jessica Billings and Susan Jennings.
At 2 p.m., the Second Christian Church held the worship service. Next week the First Baptist Church will be in charge of the service.
A donation for the Christmas auction was accepted from Sandy Chandler and friends.
