Monday,  Oct. 28
A memorial service was held for the Rev. William Givens with family in attendance.
At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed exercises with Davaline Overton and assistance from staff.
Tuesday, Oct. 29
The morning Play Care kids came out with their Halloween costumes to entertain the residents. Refreshments were served and everyone had a good time.
At 1:30 p.m., the afternoon Play Care kids came out with their Halloween costumes and entertained the residents. Refreshments were served. Resident passed out candy to the children in the evening.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with assistance from Kassie Scott and The Vandalia Leader was read by Davaline Overton to East Hall residents.
At 1:30 p.m., residents were entertained with a Halloween party of fun and games. Winners for Best Dressed Costume were-1) Sue Beedle; 2) Anna Spires; 3) Jerri Logan; and 4) Barbara Cady. Employee winners were-1)Darlene Wright; 2) Kitty McCurdy; 3) Bethany Graves; 4) Susan Jennings. Winners of the games were: Kitty McCurdy,  Mummy Wrap; and Chris Gibbs, bobbing for gummy worms.
Thursday, Nov. 1
At 10 a.m., exercises were held with Kitty McCurdy.
At 1:30 p.m., the monthly Resident Council was held with Paula McCurdy, Teresa Cunningham, Susan Jennings and Davaline Overton.
Friday, Nov. 2
At 9 a.m., exercises were held with Kassie Scott.
At 10 a.m., residents on the East Hall enjoyed a movie with assistance from Davaline Overton.
From 11 a.m.-12 p.m., resident enjoyed Clothes to You.
At 4 p.m., residents were taken to the fish fry, including Bob Deppe, Sammy Harrelson, Onita Shaw, Jerri Logan with assistance from Angie Gerderman and Davaline Overton.
Saturday, Nov. 3
Residents enjoyed a movie with assistance from Angie Gerderman.
Sunday, Nov. 4
The Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church held worship services, Next week the First Baptist Church will be in charge of services
Birthdays for November Ellen Flynn, November 1; Jerri Logan, November 11; John Day, November 17; Clematine Blanton, November 22; and Phyliss Ammons, November 30.
