October 16
The residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and the staff.
Tuesday,
October 17
At 1-2 p.m., a safety in-service was held for all employees.
Wednesday,
October 18
At 9 a.m., the residents were taken to the elementary pre-school class to do activities. Those attending were Frances Morris, Alta Jones, Charlie Grishman, Colleen Wright, and Mary Deppe. They were assisted by Beverly McQuay and Brooke McPike. Everyone had a good time.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed the trivia game of “Happy Birthday Jingo.” That was followed by the Ice Cream Social of Pike County Hospice at 2 p.m. A very large crowed attended.
Thursday,
October 19
At 10 a.m., “The Vandalia Leader” was read by Davaline Overton with the residents from SCU and the East Hall. A large crowd attended.
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and the staff.
Friday,
October 20
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed the trivia game of “Penny Ante” with the assistance of the staff.
Saturday,
October 21
At 1:30 p.m., the residents enjoyed exercise with the assistance of Beverly McQuay and Naija Jackson.
Sunday,
October 22
At 10 a.m., LaVaun Hendrix and Reta Dempsey held a Bible Class.
At 1:30 p.m., the Vandalia Holiness Church held the Worship Service. Next week, the Spencer Creek Church will be in charge of the service.
On Halloween evening from 4-6:30 p.m., area children are invited to come to TCCC for “Trick or Treating.” The RCF apartments area is also decorated for the spooky night and is included in the invitation.
The Activity Department is in need of items for the Christmas Auction, which will take place on December 13.
