Timothy D. Brehm, 39, of Summer Hill, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Jim Jacques officiating. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date.
Timothy was born April 21, 1975 in Chillicothe, a son of Rae Brehm Flinn.
He married Regina Lee Niffen Oct. 1998 at their home in Summer Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Rae Brehm Flinn of Maysville, his wife, Regina of Summer Hill; two sons, Timothy Dale Brehm, Jr. of Summer Hill and Victor Blaine Stephens of New Canton, Ill.; one grandson, Elijah Laine Stephens, and a sister, Felicia (Phillip) Limb of Cameron.
Timothy was preceded in death by a sister, Kandace Flinn, his grandmother, Diana Brehm, and his father-in-law, Walter “Cork” Niffen.
Timothy graduated from Maysville High School, where he was an outstanding athlete. After graduating high school he was awarded a football scholarship to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan. from 1997 to 2000. He worked at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green. In 2001 he began working at Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mt. Sterling, Ill. Timothy dearly loved his motorcycle, sports, and fishing, but most importantly he loved his family.
