MIDDLETOWN—It was a great day for the Middletown Lions Club CMOTA Antique Tractor Pull Saturday Aug. 24.
The Lions Club had Jimmy McCurdy and Dave Kleinsorge working the grill, cooking up barbecue pork steaks, and hot dogs, while an audience of helpful grilling enthusiasts provided cooking tips, while they themselves stayed comfortably in the shade.
Most of the audience did their best to stay in the shade along the fence in comfortable lawn chairs, while others braved the sun on both sides of the track to watch the antique tractors strain against the weight of the sled.
