Ten years later, Isaiah is no longer a little boy

When I took this job more than 10 years ago, my oldest biological son Isaiah was just 4 years old.
Where does time fly?
This past Monday night, our family celebrated Isaiah’s 14th birthday.
I am so thankful for God blessing me with the opportunity to be Isaiah’s father.
He’s a sweet, young man with a tender heart, a sense of humor he gets from me of course, and he’s extremely smart. The last item is another gift from his dad, though his mom could make a compelling challenge to my belief.
I am so proud of the fine young man Isaiah has become and I pray that he continues to allow God to guide him in his life as he continues getting older.
He’s an awesome kid and I am so grateful to call him my son. I love you Isaiah. Thank you for making me one proud dad who is just in awe of the position I have in life in raising you. I want to publicly take this time to wish you a Happy Birthday.
If you see him this week, be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday!
