Posted on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 1:33 pm

A “Keep on Truckin’ and Give it Heart!” Benefit Auction will be held for James (Jim) Sumner on May 31 at the Pike County Fairgrounds.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with the Live Auction starting at 5:30 p.m. Sumner was married to Kimberly (Morton) Sumner.
James was a local truck driver who was on the road March 17 (five hours from home) and had a heart attack. He then was flown to the nearest heart center where he had to undergo a double coronary bypass surgery and due to infection, unfortunately passed away.
His family cannot pay for the expenses due to James not having insurance. This benefit is to help his family to pay the medical costs and funeral expenses.
