Sue Epperson death possibly a homicide

On Wednesday, December 14, at the request of Ralls County Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie and New London Police Chief Brad Sanders, members of the North East Missouri (NEMO) Major Case Squad, began an investigation into the death of Sue Epperson, age 53, of New London.
On Wednesday morning, December 14 at approximately 11:11 a.m., deputies received a call from a concerned family member who had not heard from Epperson in a couple days. Deputies responded to the 400 block of East 2nd Street and found Epperson deceased inside of her home.
Preliminary investigation indicates Epperson’s death is possibly a homicide and no suspects have been identified at this time. The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Ralls County Sheriff’s Office, New London Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the NEMO Major Case Squad.
The NEMO Major Case Squad is comprised of law enforcement agencies form the following 13 counties in Missouri: Adair, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby, and Pike.
