St. Joseph School celebrates Catholic Schools week

St. Joseph Catholic School in Martinsburg
Sunday –     Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Parish
Opening Mass 10:00 AM; juice and donuts in school for everyone after the Mass.
Monday –     Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Community
Geography activity/School presentation:  Each class will be assigned a region of the United States.  Students will bring an item to describe or represent a state in each region.
Tuesday –    Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Faculty, Staff,
and Volunteers
Taste of Kindergarten – Any child entering Kindergarten in August 2012 is invited to visit Mrs. Dawn McDowell’s classroom from 7:45 – 10:15 AM.  All denominations welcome.  For information call the school at 573-492-6283.
Hot lunch for students, faculty, and volunteers.
Wednesday- Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Nation
Field trip to the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri and Father Tolson High School in Columbia.
Thursday-     Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Vocations
Father Benedict Adoyi will give a presentation on Kenya.  Ron and Sherri Deimeke will speak on Ron’s journey of becoming a deacon.
Friday –    Faith. Academics. Service: In Our Students
Carnival at School
Throughout the week students will be asked to donate change and dollar bills for a donation to the Food Bank.  Students will also be asked to donate shoes for “The Shoe Man”.
