SSM to close Vandalia clinic May 29

VANDALIA—SSM Health Medical Group – Family Medicine Clinic located at 204 W. Washington St. in Vandalia will close after Friday, May 29.
A spokesperson apologized to Vandalia residents for the inconvenience.
“We have sincere appreciation for the excellent care and dedication that Dr. Michael Kinkade and nurse practitioner Kim Cordes have provided to our patients over the past several years,” said Tonya Pehle, vice president of operations for SSM Health Medical Group.
Patients were notified by letter and staff will be contacting those with future appointments in order to assist patients in rescheduling their appointment or transferring their care. Dr. Kinkade will continue to see patients in Montgomery City. Kim Cordes, FNP will see patients in Mexico at the internal medicine clinic.
