Separate news items: Armed robbery in Martinsburg; missing person in Vandalia

(The following are two unrelated incidents but are where local law enforcement needs the help of the community.)
Armed Robbery reported in Martinsburg; Investigation ongoing
On May 2 at 8:44 p.m., members of the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office, Martinsburg Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Walnut Street in Martinsburg, Missouri on the report of an Armed Robbery. At this point the investigation revealed a lone white male entered an occupied residence, displayed a weapon and demanded property from the resident, before fleeing the residence on foot.
The suspect is described as being a white male, being approximately 5’4 to 5’7 tall wearing a blue jean jacket and blue jean pants. The suspect had black bushy hair and black framed glasses.
This matter remains under investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office at (573) 473-5800.

Jennifer Lynn Middleton

Missing person in Vandalia (information to be posted here soon from local Vandalia Police Department).

The Vandalia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating this person, identified as Jennifer Lynn Middleton, age 38, who was reported missing by her family on April 26, 2017. She was last seen in the Vandalia area in April of 2015. Subject had also been known to frequent the Troy, MO area. At this time investigators are following up on several leads.
