Search for fugitive at Mexico motel leads to arrest of five on meth charges

During the morning hours of April 16, 2021 members of the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office received information that a wanted fugitive was occupying a motel room at the America’s Value Inn, located in the 4200 block of South Clark Street in Mexico. The fugitive was identified as Robert Allen Meek, age 24 of Mexico, who was wanted on a Felony Parole Violation Arrest Warrant issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections.

At about 10:22 a.m., members of the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the motel and located Meek in a motel room at which time he was taken into custody on the arrest warrant. During the arrest, Sheriff’s Deputies located methamphetamine on Meek’s person and observed items of drug paraphernalia in plain view within the motel room. As a result, four additional persons within the room were detained and a search warrant was applied for and granted by the Associate Circuit Court of Audrain County.

During the service of the search warrant, additional amounts of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, a handgun, and items of drug paraphernalia used in the illegal use and distribution of controlled substances, were located and seized.

As a result of this investigation, the following persons were arrested:

Robert A. Meek, 24, of Mexico, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Felony Parole Violation Arrest Warrant. 

Loren R. Meek, 31, of Mexico, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Rhaionna M. Coalwell, 22, Mexico, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Nickolus S. Robinson, 25, of Mexico, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Troy W. Burgeson, 26, of Mexico, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the Investigation by the East Central Drug Task Force. All suspects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
