Schott to speak at Friendship

Be in prayer for our pastor’s wife, Freeda Forman, in the passing of her mother, Violet Austin, of Lebanon, Missouri.
On Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m., the church will conduct an interactive prayer service. Also, at 7 p.m. Patch the Pirate Club” (PPC) will meet. PPC is for children from age 4-12.
The children will be led in singing scripture songs, conduct an age appropriate Bible study as well as other Bible activities. PPC activities will be led this week by Mrs. Virginia Rivers. Bro. Alan Larson will lead the youth Group this Wednesday.
Friendship Baptist Church encourages those of all ages interested in Bible study to join us for Sunday services. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m.
This Sunday our youth leader, Bro. Ron Schott, will bring the morning message.
He will speak following congregational singing of hymns from the Baptist Hymnal led by Mrs. Schott. This Sunday morning special music will be provided by Mrs. Kristy Schott.
Following the Morning service the church will have their monthly fellowship meal honoring those who have birthdays and anniversaries in the month of May. The main course is provided by the church and this month it will be hamburgers and hot dogs.
On Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Mrs. Schott will once again lead the congregation in songs from the Baptist Hymnal followed by the Louie Giglio film “Symphony.” Sunday night special music will be provided by volunteers from the congregation.  Also, each Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Bro. Earl Traynor leads the Royal Ambassadors (RA’s – a mission group for boys). Bro. Earl is assisted by Tracy Wright. Sunday at 6 p.m. Girls in Action (GA’s) meet
GA’s is a mission education group for girls 1st grade through 6th grade and is led by Mrs. Valory Wright.
