Rush Hill sends several on mission trip

The Rush Hill Community Church recently sent 20 youth and adults on a mission trip with Group Workcamps.
The group arrived in Buffalo, New York on July 1 and departed on July 7, 2012.
The group scraped and painted houses and rebuilt porches while in New York.
The camp had youth and adults  from 11 states and 1 Canadian  province in attendance.  There were 327 campers that performed over 3,000 hours of community service in Buffalo during the week.
The group attended worship services every morning and evening, as well as holding devotions at their worksite during the day.
This makes the sixth year the Rush Hill group has participated in a Group mission trip.  On their afternoon off, July 4, the group was able to ride the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls.
