Fifteen adult and youth from the Rush Hill Community Church traveled to Buckner, Kentucky from June 30-July 6 for a mission trip with Group Mission Trips.
There were 230 campers from 11 states including Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Missouri, Virginia, New Jersey, and Indiana.
The group painted, built wheelchair ramps, and various other jobs-logging in 6,780 hours of volunteer service during the week. Participants attended morning and evening devotional programs as well as having devotions on one of the 34 worksites during the day.
Those attending from Rush Hill were adult leaders-Diane Hagedorn, Scott Hobbs, Dennis Hobbs, and Justin Hagedorn. Bonnie Wilson went as a group staff member. Youth attending were Mikyla Wagner, Cameron Foreman, Ryan Kitchen, Jordan Hagedorn, Savana Buck, Justin Durham, Kyle Curtis, Sean Wilson, Sam Hobbs, and Russell Lovelace. This marks the seventh mission trip for the Rush Hill group.
