Revival at Friendship Dec. 5-7

Posted on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 1:34 pm

On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Friendship Baptist Church invites the entire community to our weekly prayer service for adults, Patch the Pirate Club (for children ages 4-12) and “teen time”. “Teen time” is a ministry to teenagers that includes Bible study, games and fellowship. Patch the Pirate Club is led by Mrs. Kristy Schott assisted by Mrs. Virginia Rivers and Mrs. Lisa Larson. Teens are led by Bro. Ron Schott and Bro. Alan Larson.
David Holvick will be our featured speaker for our 2014 Fall Revival. Revival services will be held 7 p.m. December 5-6 and 10:45 a.m. on December 7.
Rev. Holvick served as a Home Missionary for American Missionary Fellowship for more than a decade. He retired after pastoring Riverview Bible Baptist Church, in Forsyth, Missouri for 31 years. This is Rev. Holvick’s third revival at Friendship.
Brother Holvick is a fundamental Bible preacher who interprets current events from a Biblical perspective. Revival music will be led by Mrs. Kristy Schott with special music in each service presented by various church members.
Friendship Baptist Church encourages those of all ages interested in Bible study to enroll in our Sunday School. The Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. Our Sunday School Director, Mrs. Lisa Larson, states we have plenty of spaces available for adults, teens and children.
A Nursery is provided for both Sunday School and Morning Worship. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning our evangelist, Rev. David Holvick, will challenge the congregation with a message from the King James Version of the Bible following a rousing song service with songs from the Baptist Hymnal led by Mrs. Kristy Schott. This Sunday morning special music will be provided by Mrs. Diane Baker prior to the morning sermon. Each week the congregation is accompanied by Mrs. Nancy Wyss at the organ and Mrs. Freeda Forman at the piano.
Friendship invites the community for a free Thanksgiving-Christmas Dinner immediately following morning worship. The main course, entrees, and drinks are provided. We encourage everyone to bring a desert to complete the meal.
Sunday evening at 6 p.m., Mrs. Kristy Schott will lead the congregation in a song service from the Baptist Hymnal followed by Isaiah Schott’s special music selection. Our pastor, Bro. Glenn Forman will then challenge those present with a message from the King James version of the Bible.  Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Bro. Earl Traynor also meets with the Royal Ambassadors (mission group for boys), assisted by Bro. Alan Larson.
