Board members met in regular session Tuesday, February 16, at Agape House of Vandalia. Board president Sterling Holbrook reported a local contractor would make repairs to the fascia and exit steps at the rear of the building when weather permits.
In other business, the manager reported 64 persons, including six children and three ministry team members, had stayed at the house in January. One guest commented she would have been unable to visit her relative in the state correctional facility had it not been for this affordable option.
Sterling Holbrook reported a board member of United Way of Audrain County had made an agency visit earlier in the week. Board members in attendance were Alberta Cropp, Carlene Galloway, Janet Heim, Karen Holbrook, Sterling Holbrook, Floy Oliver, Phil Pennington, Kay Robnett, Veanna Snodgrass and Edith Westmoreland. The next board meeting will be Tuesday, March 15.
