The Central Bank of Audrain County recently appointed Jimmie Reading to its Board of Directors.
“We welcome Mr. Reading as a Director. His extensive experience and dedication to our local area and community are incredibly valuable and appreciated by Central Bank and our Board. We are very pleased to add a representative from the Vandalia community to our board of directors.” said Mike Bunge, Central Bank’s Chairman of the Board of Directors who looks forward to his involvement in the bank.
Mr. Reading is a life-time resident of the Vandalia community. He and his family operate a Century Farm in Pike County that dates back to his great-great grandfather’s acquisition in 1868.
For 147 years, the Reading family has operated a diversified farming operation consisting of crops and cattle.
Mr. Reading has been very involved in civic activities through the years.
He has dedicated his time serving boards and organizations that directly impact Vandalia and agriculture.
A few of these organizations are MFA Board of Directors, Vandalia Lion’s Club, Vandalia Country Club and past member of the Van-Far R-1 School Board.
