RAY IKE MOLLET

Ray Ike Mollet, 62, of Rush Hill, died unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial took place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Ray was born Oct. 9, 1951 in Rush Hill, the son of John and Mildred (Sweitzer) Mollet. He attended Community R-VI Schools and graduated high school in 1969. Ray was a self-employed farmer and worked for the Clark area Amish Community.
He was also a member of the Laddonia Baptist Church.
Mr. Mollet is survived by his mother, Mildred Mollet, of Mexico; two sons, Glen Mollet and Mike Mollet, both of Rush Hill; and four sisters, Sue Ann Jordan, of Mexico, Jane (Jerry) Bridges, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marie (Pete) Wilmarth, of Madison, Wisconsin, and Carol (Steve) Carr, of Mexico. Extended family includes Earl and Sharon Sweitzer, of Perry; Mary Ellen Sweitzer of Mexico; Alvina Mollet, of Vandalia; Jean Mollet, of Liberty; Virginia Mollet, of Soldotna, Alaska, and many Sweitzer, Mollet, Doebelin, and Robnett cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Mollet; his brother, Dan Mollet; and an infant sister.
Ray loved his family and neighbors, and farming was his joy. He enjoyed family reunions, and truck and tractor pulls.
Ray had many friends in the area and will be missed by all.
Memorial donations may be made to the Laddonia Baptist Church or the Rush Hill Community Church.
