In their final home match of the season, Community R-VI’s golf team struggled on a windy day at the Mexico Country Club playing against golfers from MMA and Sturgeon.
Only one golfer in the match shot below 50.
“Most of our boys’ drives landed them in a tough position and on the majority of the holes they were not able to recover,” said Community R-VI golf coach Johnathan Guilkey.
Treyton Kobush shot a 58 to lead the Trojans.
Trever Hoyt added a 64 and Bryan Allen shot a 65.
The Trojans did not have enough golfers in the match to earn team points against MMA and Sturgeon.
