The Audrain Co. R-VI Chapter Officers and Greenhand Officers presented Food for America to Kindergarten through 5th Grade Classes at Community R-VI. They teach the elementary students about where food and agricultural products come.  This is a very educational program for multiple reasons. It lets them know that where they live, in rural Missouri, is an important place in this country. This also tells them that they can play a big part in producing a lot of the items they use every day. Topics for this month’s presentations included: Honey Bees, Soybeans, Pork Production, Fruits & Vegetables, and Dairy Production. FFA members will present to elementary classes one day each month to continue to educate others about agriculture.
