Construction is progressing on the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA. The majority of the exterior is complete and the installation of the exterior brick is starting. Internally, the walls have been framed and the electrical fixtures are being installed.
The Capital Campaign Committee is working on securing additional funds to complete the flooring for the facility, plus the operating budget. Interim Project Manager Jeff Frazier has been making presentations about the YMCA project to local organizations, churches, and individuals. Applications for the YMCA Branch Director are being accepted until June 30. If interested in applying, please submit your resume to email@example.com. Interviews are expected to occur during the month of July. Following the selection of the Branch Director, other positions will be posted to further complete the YMCA team.
As construction progresses, the excitement and anticipation of opening the facility is growing. The completion of the YMCA is an investment in our communities and the benefits received by this new addition have the potential to better individual lives and the communities.
