At the recent three day Missouri Hearing Society Educational Conference held in Kansas City at the Marriott Country Club Plaza, Pamela Cole, a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist with Cole Hearing Center, LLC with offices in Bowling Green and Vandalia, received the highest level, Platinum Education Award, for Outstanding Educational Achievement. The Missouri Hearing Society recognizes those individuals who go beyond the basic continuing education requirements in order to provide superior service to their clients.
Pam also attended and received a Certificate of Completion for a two day workshop held in St. Louis which focused on the application of wireless technology, induction loop systems.
An induction loop system transmits magnetic energy to telecoil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants. This can greatly improve the quality of the sound from a television, radio, telephone etc. as if they are talking right into your ears.
Cole has been working with the hearing impaired for the past 28 years.
