Correction from newspaper article: Just confirmed the name was Bonnie and not Bona, and she was the driver.

One 81-year-old Iowa woman was killed in front of the Laddonia Casey’s last Friday after a deadly three-car accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, Otto Geering and his wife Bonnie Geering, from Wilton, Iowa, were traveling in their 2009 Buick Enclave at 5:22 a.m.
The car, driven by Bonnie, reportedly traveled off the right side of Highway 54, near First St., and sideswiped a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander driven by 39-year-old Kay Moore, of Columbia, Mo.
The Geerings vehicle then ran into the backside of a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer from Iowa that was parked on the side of the road.
First responders on the scene had to call on the assistance of the Little Dixie Fire Department for the use of a stronger jaws of life due to the severity of the damage.
The accident caused traffic to slow down significantly on Highway 54 in Laddonia. Both Otto and Bona were life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia, where Bona was pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m. by Dr. Jeremy Berger.
Otto remains in serious condition.
This was the sixth traffic fatality for Troop F in 2013.
